A Transformative
4 Year Journey Through
Real World Learning
An Entrepreneurial Curriculum
Rooted in
Real World Learning
Shiksha is a four-year learning program that helps students think like problem-solvers and leaders. It is taught by trained teachers in government schools. Each year, students choose real-life projects based on what they care about and what their community needs. These projects help solve social, community, or local business problems.
Students work in teams and learn by doing. They talk to people in their community, study problems, build simple models, ask experts for advice, and share their ideas and solutions. They also take time to reflect and learn together.
The projects use very few resources and little technology, helping students take action even outside the classroom. Teachers are trained through hands-on learning and experience the program themselves, so they can guide and inspire students better.
